Travis is a high school senior going through tough times: the girl he likes doesn’t even notice him, his parents are splitting up, and his older brother has been deployed to Iraq. All he really wants is to get through high school, but life keeps throwing him curveballs. Then there’s Erynne, a rebellious punk who might say Travis has it easy. She’s been kicked out of her home, living out of a minivan, and her boyfriend is on the verge of breaking up with her. Though they share a class, Travis and Erynne don’t know each other—yet their chance encounter could be the key to surviving the night. This play explores the resilience it takes to overcome hardship and the search for just one good thing in the face of tragedy.
