EMS ISD Celebrates Milestone Years of Service Recipients

This story was originally posted on April 24, 2025.

Employees from across EMS ISD were honored during the Milestone Years of Service Awards Celebration held on April 22, 2025, at the Dr. Jim F. Chadwell Administration Building and Discovery Lab Learning Center.

Employees completing 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 years of service were treated to a buffet of hors d'oeuvres by the EMS ISD PTO, who also decorated the room with tablecloths and flower arrangements to honor these longtime employees.

During the ceremony, each recipient in each category was recognized for their decades of service to the students and families of EMS ISD.

After receiving their award, each recipient was greeted by Dr. Jerry D. Hollingsworth, EMS ISD Superintendent and members of the EMS ISD Board of Trustees, before taking a group photo.

Beyond celebrating their service, the event gave these longstanding EMS ISD employees time to visit and, in some cases, reconnect with friends they have served alongside for so many years.
