CTHS hosts ‘Jostens Renaissance Back to School Tour’
Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD is pleased to
announce that Chisholm Trail High School hosted the Jostens Renaissance Back
to School Tour on Monday, October 24, with more than 800 high school students
from across Texas and Oklahoma in attendance.
Chisholm Trail High School was one of only 41 schools in the U.S. to be selected to host the pep-rally style event. Jostens Renaissance Education selects schools based on their culture, character building skills, and student achievement.
For more than 25 years, Jostens Renaissance Education has helped inspire students and educators to transform the culture of their school in a positive way for the 21st Century by providing resources that: · Build the character of students in and out of the classroom. · Enhance connections with peers, parents, educators, and other stakeholders. · Create a culture of celebration for all student achievements.
This year, Jostens Renaissance Back to School Tour featured renowned youth speaker, Mike Smith, who gave inspiration and shared his experiences on his high school career.
“It was a huge honor for Chisholm Trail to be chosen as a tour stop,” said Dr. Dana Barnes, CTHS principal. “Jostens visited CTHS last year and were able to experience our culture of excellence, our Ranger Rallies, and the great student body of our Ranger Family. It is our mission to build each Ranger's strengths through kindness, humbleness, and generosity. Listening to Mike Smith gave us additional tools and ideas to help more people. He was absolutely amazing! We greatly appreciate Jostens bringing this program to Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD. It was a great experience for all involved.” Congratulations CTHS on being selected as a Jostens Renaissance Back to School Tour stop. We are #emsproud of you. |
