Student IDs

Starting Monday, October 7, 2024, all students are required to wear their school issued Student ID card on their person.  We have been able to fully restock our student ID materials, and we have purchased a brand-new machine that prints IDs in house in our library.

IDs are to be worn on a lanyard, clipped to a belt loop on the front of the pants, or clipped to a shirt on the front of the student.  Attaching IDs to their backpack, bags, purses, or other items does not align with ID wear expectations.

Students that need an ID can request one using the link below.  You have to have an active EMSISD Microsoft Account to complete the form. Once that request is filled, the library will receive it and will call the student down to pick up the ID in person.  If you need a replacement ID, you will need to pay $5 each time by using the link below.

The attached form will be placed in common areas around the school, and will be sent to classroom teachers.  Students will not need to go to the library to request a card.  Once their request has been placed, the library will contact the student to come down, take a picture if one is not already on file, print the card, and issue it to the student.

Not wearing or presenting your ID when asked is a student code of conduct violation that can result in a consequence.  Our goal is to improve the safety for students and staff with this safety measure.  Thank you for helping make Boswell a safer place.
