Student registration for 2018-19 opens April 30

The annual online student registration portal has undergone some restructuring this year to simplify and streamline the process for our families in preparation for the 2018-2019 school year. Due to these adjustments, EMS ISD is pleased to announce that ALL students - current, new, and former students who are returning to EMS ISD - can now register earlier than in previous years. Online registration for ALL students opens April 30!

All current, new, and former students who are returning must register for the 2018-19 school year online. Current and former students will be asked to update required forms and information while new students will complete the full registration packet. Please do not attempt to register or complete new enrollment before April 30; the current processes open online right now are for the current school year only. Visit our Registration section for more information and registration links.
Opening the registration window earlier for all students benefits both families and district staff. Families will be able to take care of this process before leaving for summer vacations and will not need to set aside time in July as in years past to complete the online forms. For district staff, having registration earlier aids in staffing projections for teachers and support staff, and allows us to recruit top-quality educators from larger pools of candidates.
In addition to the registration portal, information is being updated regularly on our Back to School Information section. Be sure to visit the site for all the need-to-know details including your school attendance zone and feeder system, school supply lists, immunization requirements, and more.
Kindergarten Round-Up
Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for May 1-May 3. To enroll for kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old by September 1. Each school schedules specific dates/times during this week for Kindergarten Round Up; find your home campus details here. Also be sure to read through the requirements for enrolling in kindergarten as well as the district's pre-kindergarten program for qualifying 4 year old children.
