Nathan Singewald is the son of John and Susan Singewald. He attended Lake Pointe Elementary, Creekview Middle School, and Boswell High School. He has been a member of National Honor Society, the UIL Computer Science Team that placed first in district all four years, President of the Chemistry Club his junior year, and founder of the Gamer's Social Club.
"My best high school memory is easily going to region in UIL computer science my freshman year," Singewald said. "We left the day before contest and stayed at basically a dorm with about four of my good friends. It made contest essentially stressless and lead to us going to state later that year."
Singewald plans to attend Texas A&M University to study computer science. He intends to earn a bachelor's and master's degree and then pursue a career in computer science.
Boswell High School Salutatorian | Hannah Baker
Hannah Baker is the daughter of Christopher and Lynn Baker. She attended Eagle Mountain Elementary, Wayside Middle, and Boswell High School. She has been a member of the volleyball team, choir, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, she played club volleyball for Tejas and Fort Worth Fire.
"My best high school memories have been made with the Lady Pioneer volleyball team," Baker said.
Emilia Lara is the daughter of Martin and Blanca Lara. She enrolled in EMS ISD in eighth grade and attended Creekview Middle School and Chisholm Trail High School. She has been a member of the track team, Gold Standard, the prom committee, and Battle of the Books. She has been the President of National Honor Society, Senior Class Treasurer, Student Council Historian, varsity cross country captain, a Junior EMS Education Foundation Board Member, Vice President of AVID, and Secretary of National Honor Society.
"My best high school memory would be learning that I got a 5 on my AP World History and AP Spanish IV exams, and the teachers coming to give me a sign to celebrate my achievement," she said. "It felt nice that a year of hard work paid off and that my teachers got me there."
Lara plans to attend The University of Texas in Austin to study accounting. She intends to get into law school and become a corporate lawyer or own her own accounting or law firm.
Lara said one of her best teachers was Social Studies teacher Michael Brown.
"Mr. Brown was a perfect teacher, not too much, not too little, just right," Lara said. "He taught in many different ways, always answered questions, and treated everyone fairly and the same. He has no favorites and was there to offer his services as he taught World History to us successfully. I cannot recall a single bad moment in his class."
Andy Ni is the son of Liping and Jimao Ni. He attended Saginaw Elementary, Prairie Vista Middle School, and Chisholm Trail High School. He has been a member of gymnastics and National Honor Society. He served as Secretary in Student Council, and competed in math and science at UIL Academic competitions. He was a Regional and State Qualifier in UIL science.
"My best high school memory was going to Regionals with the UIL Science Team my senior year," Ni said.
Ni plans to attend The University of Texas in Austin to study computer science. He intends to have a career in computer science where he can not only make enough to support himself, but also enjoy his job.
Ni said one of his best teachers was the Makerspace and Computer Lab Manager, Lindy Hannebaum, at Saginaw Elementary.
"Mrs. Hannebaum helped me from when I knew nothing," Ni said. "I appreciate all her contributions to my education and her caring personality."
Andrew Cobble is the son of Kyle and Cathy Cobble. He enrolled in EMS ISD his freshman year and attended all four years of high school at Saginaw High School. He has been a member of National Honor Society, Environmental Club, National History Club, and band. He was a section leader in the band.
"My best high school memory was when we went to Disney World for a band trip," Cobble said. "I had the best time of my life."
Cobble plans to attend The University of Texas at Dallas to study psychology. He is still deciding what path he wants to follow after college, but will potentially become an industrial psychologist.
Cobble said one of his best teachers was Social Studies teacher Kathryn Metcalf.
"She is highly knowledgeable, is excellent with her class lectures, and has a very engaging AP class," he said. "She is a great teacher."
Abigail Morgan is the daughter of Lakshmi and Chris Morgan. She attended High Country Elementary, Highland Middle School, and Saginaw High School. She competed in both cross country and track all four years, with three of those years on varsity, and one year as team captain of both teams. She was the Class President for two years and Class Vice President for one year. She was also a member of Environmental Science Club where she was Vice President for one year, a member of National Honor Society, and the Fellowship of Christian Students President.
"My best high school memory was going to cross country regionals my sophomore year and running with my team," Morgan said.
Outside of school, Morgan has participated in Bible Study Fellowship, Church Youth Nights, and Fossil Creek Baseball Challengers.
Morgan plans to attend Austin College to study public health. She intends to become a doctor with the ability to do humanitarian work in other countries.
She said one of her best teachers was math teacher Emily Kelly.
"I have had her for three years and each year, she teaches me what I need to know and has helped me thoroughly throughout my high school experience," Morgan said. "She has always been available whenever I needed anything."
