1st Day of School is August 20, 2020
Registration opens April 23 at emsisd.com/register. Only students who are new to EMS ISD or who previously attended, withdrew, and are returning to the district need to complete the online registration. Continuing students do not need to complete registration for 2020-2021.
Electronic Flyer Approval and Delivery in Our Schools | Eflyers
To be more environmentally friendly and to embrace innovative technology, we have moved from paper to electronic flyer delivery. Eflyers are sent directly to our parents’ email inboxes as well as be posted online for easy access through the District’s partner, Peachjar.
Eflyer delivery saves paper, reduce copy costs, and reduces the amount of time teachers, office staff, and volunteers spend stuffing folders with flyers. In addition, it ensures that parents receive the information from their child’s school. To access the flyers for your child's school, simply look for the button in the shortcuts menu on the home page of the website for your child's school. Or to find a particular school, visit www.peachjar.com.
We have partnered with TeacherLists this year to bring you a convenient way to access school supply lists on your mobile device while back-to-school shopping! No need to focus on specific brand names, just be sure to get the correct amount. TeacherLists even offers a "one-click pre-filled cart" option with Target, Amazon, EPI, Office Depot, or Staples, BUT we encourage you to compare prices to make sure you are getting the best deal! Click on your child's school below and then choose the grade level list. Happy shopping!
It is recommended that students bring a face mask if they begin in-person learning September 8*. Please check with your child's campus for details.
*For the purposes of the EMS ISD Reconnect 2020 learning plan, masks include non-medical grade disposable face masks or cloth face coverings to protect nose and mouth. Full-face shields may be used to supplement face coverings, but are generally not sufficient to be worn alone unless in an activity as described on the Reconnect 2020 website under In-Person Learning > Health and Safety Measures. We are continuing to review and provide updates based on CDC and Texas Education Agency guidance.
