• Debra Ezell, Director

    My name is Debra Ezell. I have been teaching for 33 years. I am certified to teach English, French, Dance and P.E. I graduated from Boswell High School and North Texas State University (now called UNT!). I currently teach 8th-grade dance class, Dance 1, 2 and 3. I am the director for the JV and Varsity Starsteppers.

  • Amanda Alvarez, Assistant Director

    Amanda is originally from Lewisville, Texas. She has been dancing since the age of 3. Growing up she attended Dance Xpress where she trained in ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz and contemporary. While in high school, Amanda served on the Lewisville High School dance team, as a Farmerette for four years. She was a Jr. Lieutenant and Senior Captain, and received several awards including Farmerette of the Year and Most Dedicated her senior year. Amanda also graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Kinesiology Dance Science. During her time at A&M Amanda trained in ballet and modern, and had the opportunity to perform in various dance shows. Amanda also participated in the Undergraduate Research Scholars program, along with three other students. Their research has since been presented at the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science annual conference, as well as being published. After graduating from Texas A&M, Amanda participated in the Disney College Program, where she was able to work for The Walt Disney Company, at Disney World, in Florida. This will be Amanda’s first year at Saginaw High School as the Assistant Dance Director.
