TCC - Student Recruitment & Outreach

  • Tarrant County College is a two-year college that provides students with educational opportunities to support degree or certificate goals and help with career preparation. 

    The TCC Student Recruitment & Outreach program provides pre-college information, testing, advising, financial aid and admissions services for high school seniors at participating high schools, including Chisholm Trail High School.

    Senior students interested in pursuing a degree or certificate at TCC, or that are planning to take at least one class at TCC to transfer to another college or university are eligible to participate in the program. Follow the steps below to participate. 

Step 1: Online Interest Card

  • TCC Online Interest Form

    TCC will visit English 4 classes at CTHS on Thursday, October 26, 2023. TCC will provide a brief TCC 101 session and request students interested in TCC complete the online interest form. 

    For dual credit students, please complete the online interest form if you are interesting in taking courses at TCC after high school graduation.

Step 2: TCC Application

  • To complete the application to Tarrant County College, students must complete the Apply TCC application.

    TCC will be available during English 4 classes on November 29, 2023, to assist students with completing the TCC application. 

    Students that have completed dual credit courses through TCC do NOT need to complete another application to TCC. Dual credit students need to ensure they complete the online interest form indicated in Step 1.

Step 3: Hello! TCC & TCC Email Setup

  • *After completing the application to TCC, you should receive an email within 48 to 72 hours from TCC that includes your TCC ID number, email address, and instructions for accessing Hello! TCC.

    Hello!TCC: If needed, get help logging into Hello!TCC.

    TCC Help Desk: Contact the TCC Help Desk if having trouble logging into TCC accounts.

    TCC will be available during lunch periods on February 7, 2024, to assist students that completed an application to TCC in setting up their Hello!TCC account.

  • TSI Assessment: Students that have not met the exemption criteria will need to take the TSI. The link provided outlines instructions for taking the assessment through the TCC testing center.

     

Step 7: Financial Aid

  • FSA ID: Create a FSA ID to electronically sign your FAFSA and manage your account.

    FAFSA: Apply for federal student financial aid.
