WAYSIDE WILDCAT TENNIS

Tennis is open to all 7th and 8th-grade boys and girls at Wayside.

Beginning Tennis (6th period):

This is an introductory, non-competitive tennis class focusing on fundamentals. Players will not compete in district competitions.

Players will need a current physical, the blues & grays uniform (purchased from Wayside), an introductory tennis racquet, a water bottle, athletic shoes, and a cap, bucket hat, or visor.

Athletics/Team Tennis (8th period):

This class is for the more experienced player who will compete throughout the year in district competitions (see Rank One schedule). In season, players will practice after school from 3:40 pm-5:15 pm.

All players will need a current physical, the blues & grays uniform (purchased from Wayside), 1-2 intermediate to advanced tennis racquets, a water bottle, athletic shoes (preferably tennis specific), and a cap, bucket hat, or visor.
