  • Welcome to the Willkie Badger cross country website. On this site you can find information regarding the program including tryouts for the upcoming season, schedules, contact information for coaches, and Remind 101 instructions. We look forward to having a great season!

    Cross country is one of the first sports offered for students to participate in. Cross country has a short, but rewarding season. There are roughly 5-6 meets with daily practice.  Cross country runners will focus on healthy eating habits, endurance, proper form, and muscle recovery. 

    It is advised that any athlete looking to become successful in athletics join Cross Country for its short season.  You can play any sport including football or volleyball and participate in cross country at the same time as we work together with each other and are accommodating. 

    Cross country practices will be in the mornings and the only equipment required are some decent running shoes.

    Schedules for both sports will be available as they come out.
