• World Language Academy

The World Language Academy is an after-school program for parents and students. Through technology and hands-on lessons from certified EMS ISD educators, participants can learn to converse in Spanish or American Sign Language.

Now in its fifth year, the program also serves as a foundation for future language learning. Students who participate get a head start in a language or have their classroom lessons reinforced through the after-school program. Studies show bilingual learners are more competitive in the job market, increase their awareness of other cultures, and increase their brain power.
