  • In March of 2015, Dr. Linda Parker, Ed.D., joined Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD as the Deputy Superintendent where she leads the work of transforming education to meet the needs of every child. Having worked thirty years in education has given Linda Parker, a graduate of Texas Tech University, Texas Woman's University, and Nova Southeastern University, a firm foundation in meeting students' needs in the classroom through the use of best practices. Her experiences range from teaching English in the rural cotton farming community of O'Donnell to the metroplex districts of Boyd and Northwest to leading campuses in high growth districts. After 17 years in the classroom, she moved into the role of an administrator in NISD, ultimately opening Byron Nelson High School as the principal before moving into the role of Executive Director of Secondary Education and then to Eagle Mountain-Saginaw in her current role as Deputy Superintendent. She also serves as an adjunct professor for Dallas Baptist University in the Education Department.

Parker's honors include being named a Josten's National Educator of the Year, North Texas Technology Association's Administrator of the Year, UEA's North Texas Secondary Administrator of the Year, and Region XI Assistant Principal of the Year.
