This year's event saw 38 EMS ISD TrailBlazers compete against student athletes from 10 other school districts, and the TrailBlazers shined in both track and field events.

On the track, TrailBlazers raced in the 25-meter, 50-meter, and 100-meter runs, earning a total of 15 first-place ribbons. In the field events, TrailBlazers showcased their skills in the Softball and Tennis Ball Throw, Mini Turbo Javelin Throw, Standing Long Jump, and Running Long Jump, securing nine first-place ribbons.A girl throws a mini javelin

The excitement continued with the relay races, where EMS ISD had four relay teams compete in the 4x100-meter relay. Red 1 relay secured second-place, Red 2 relay took first-place, while Red 3 and Red 4 relay teams earned third-place finishes.

"Our Trailblazers worked so hard and dominated the local track meet at Keller!" said Emily Kasper, EMS ISD Trailblazers coach. "They showed up and showed out with their skills in their field events and speed on the track. The athletes are determined to bring home some wins at the upcoming Area and State competitions!"

As the meet concluded, the enthusiasm and dedication of the Trailblazers left a lasting impression. We are #EMSproud of their efforts and look forward to seeing their continued success at the upcoming competitions.
