Mrs. [Courtney] Chenault, my [Remington Point] elementary school librarian, was always very supportive and wanted to see my club succeed. With her help, we were able to create chess tournaments with over 75 participants across four grades. My other creation is my jazz combo, "The Doo-Dahts." My love of jazz music was sparked by many helpful instructors, which allowed me to create a band to make music with some of my best friends. Our performances at CTHS, community events and restaurants are some of the memories I hold dearest. Our collaboration with the CTHS Theatre Department on their production of "Clue" was my favorite memory and the culmination of my EMS ISD journey.”
Recognitions while at Chisholm Trail include receiving a National Merit Scholarship, being named an AP Scholar with Distinction, receiving the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, being named a junior and senior Chisholm Trail Trailblazer, receiving the 2023 Chisholm Trail Integrity Award, being a two time Debate and Speech Regional Qualifier, a three-time Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-Region Jazz Pianist, and a TMEA All-Region Bassoonist.
"Being Valedictorian of the Chisholm Trail High School Class of '25 is a humbling experience and an amazing honor. It is a reflection of not only the work I put in but of the amazing support of my parents, teachers and others."
Specifically, Seutter points to the AP Social Studies Department at Chisholm Trail.
"They are outstanding educators who always go the extra mile to support the learning and success of their students."
