Suicide Awareness and Prevention
Suicide is the second leading cause of death in adolescence. EMS ISD is committed to being a competent school community in suicide prevention. As a district, we train our staff to identify students who may be at risk for suicide, refer students to counselors, and work with parents to provide support for students.
