  • We are #emsproud to provide a variety of online resources - Canvas, Office 365, and more - for teachers to use as a digital extension of the classroom for assignments, projects, rubrics, etc. You have the autonomy to choose one or more of these tools for use in your classroom. Technology Integration training is offered through our Instructional Technology department - an elite squad of technology trainers that will guide you each step of the way! Explore the common tools below and additional information available on the Staff tab of the website.

Common Tools for Employees

  • Skyward button - linked to Family Access info page  

    Skyward Educator Access serves as your electronic grade book and is used for daily class attendance.  Skyward Employee Access allows you to view your personal, payroll, time off, and contract information. Access to both Educator Access and Employee Access is available to employees through our Single Sign-on Portal (SSO); however, you will need to enter your unique Employee Access login again once you are at the Skyward site.

    Through our partnership with Microsoft Education, EMS ISD employees have access to Office 365 online, the most updated versions of Microsoft Office applications, FREE of charge for home. Visit our Office 365 overview page for download instructions. Access to Office 365 is available to employees through our Single Sign-on Portal (SSO).

    Canvas is an easy-to-use, cloud-based learning management system (LMS) that connects all the digital tools and resources teachers use into one simple place. It empowers teachers and students with countless tools to make teaching and learning easier and more fun. Access to Canvas is available to employees and students through our Single Sign-on Portal (SSO).

    Remind is a free app-based text messaging system teachers, coaches, and club sponsors can use to share information with students and parents. Each of your classes has been assigned a Remind code, simply login to Remind using your school email and password to claim your classes. Not sure what password to use? Visit this link to reset your password. Did you already create a Remind class code? No problem, follow these steps to associate that class with EMS ISD. Please include your Remind "join" code on your course syllabus.

  • Eduphoria button - linked to Eduphoria login page

    Eduphoria is a comprehensive tool used for collaborating and lesson planning, monitoring student assessments and progress, entering work orders for technical support or repairs, attending workshops and training, and cultivating professional development. Access to Eduphoria is available to employees through our Single Sign-on Portal (SSO).
