• District New Construction Progress

    In a presentation to the Board of Education on April 27, 2020, Chief Operations Officer Clete Welch shared updates about the following projects:

     Copper Creek ES

    • Cafeteria serving line installed
    • Library circulation desk finished
    • Workroom furniture delivered
    • Classroom hallways are painted
    • Classrooms are complete

    Turf Installation

    • Turf installation continues at Highland, Creekview nad Prairie Vista middle schools and Saginaw High School

    Boswell High School

    • The new electrical routing is complete
    • Slab has been poured

    Prairie Vista Middle School

    • New carpet has been installed

     Progress Update of Other Projects

    • Maintenance addition and multiple security projects - the district will continue to define the scope
    • Network Operations Center - Design and ordering of materials in progress
    • Central Office - Continue design meetings. Projected construction will begin in Fall 2020
    • Eagle Mountain High School - Continue to have meetins with VLK. A virtual meeting was conducted with current high school and middle school students to gather information on things they liked in their schools, how they preferred to learn, and what would help them learn better in the future.
